Barnsley House, Cirencester.
What a privilege to have spent those two days with Nina & Erik days at Barnsley House. It is a divine and mystical place where a soothing atmosphere prevails. Seconds, minutes and hours go by slowly when you are here. People take the time to live… Lulled by the birdsong of the hundreds of species whose home is this English countryside so dear to my heart. I am happy here.
Cirencester, a town in Gloucestershire County, about an hour and a half away from London, was a pleasant discovery. I love the United-Kingdom, London and its inhabitants, and countryside towns like Cirencester. This small England town is on a human scale. People cross on pavements, talk and know each other. This small England town is on a human scale. People cross on pavements, talk and know each other. I like the eve of a marriage through the streets, to settle a bar terrace, watch the passers empreigner me places.
For me, love is one of the most beautiful things to photograph. I am lucky, lucky to witness such intense moments. I have been in love with England for a long time, with its history, culture and people, and this couple makes me love it even more. There is nothing on Earth more beautiful than to have been able to spend that special day surrounded by the people you love.
Nina & Erik, I love writing, I really do, but I will never be able to put everything I felt during those two days with you into words, it would be too long. The point is not to read but to see: to see the love that exists between you two and the joy you bring to your families and friends who reflect your happiness. Your story here was a moment of pure happiness. For once, I’d rather let your pictures tell the story, set to music that takes me back to that wonderful day I was so lucky to share with you.
Absolutely beautiful pictures ! Your eye for detail is something special and the way you capture these moments are spot on every time. Just perfect.
